Gordon's way with Watercolour

My name is Gordon Townsend a watercolour artist for many years,
Here is my profile

Born in the U/K in 1936 I have lived in Australia since 1967. I have had an interest in art since early childhood and art has been a life long preoccupation. Over the years  I have worked in all the mediums from Charcoal to Oils leaving the hardest to last Which is Watercolour.
And then started using watercolour on regular basis about 25
I call myself an amateur with a professional attitude. having  had many types occupation over the years Most of them art related such as pictorial sign writing. But never having worked as a fine artist this has allowed me to pursue my art with the freedom to express myself freely without the constraints of trying to paint for the marketplace. . In 1995 I become a volunteer tutor teaching watercolour for the University of the Third Age (U.3.A.)
I am also an Art instructor for Painting with Parkinson’s using acrylics.
I have been published in the Australian Artist. And Artist Palette. My work is in collections in Australia and Overseas
The aim of this website is to display my art to a larger audience while at the same time explaining the process of how I accomplished the painting and the reason that made me to want to paint it
Watch out for my first post on Gordon's way with watercolour
